How to Find them – A Map of the Chorus Churches
Tips
- Take your time! There are 16 churches on the list and you can’t see all or even most of them in one day. Your ticket is valid for a full year so integrate church visits with other activities. Going to the Biennale? Visit the Church of San Giuseppe and Basilica of San Pietro while you are in the area. Going to the Scuola Grande di San Rocco? Stop by the churches in the center of Venice. This way you can enjoy the city and have the freedom to stop by the Churches when you want.
- The Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari (Frari Church) doesn’t issue the Chorus Pass so don’t go there first. If you want to get to the Frari Church as soon as possible San Paolo is the closest option to get the Chorus Card.
- Churches often enforce dress codes so make sure to dress appropriately. Usually shoulders and knees must be covered.
